The hourly rate for this role is £13.02 and up to £15.10 across selected locations within London. This is a weekly paid role. Ready to make someone's day this Christmas? Join Boots as a Seasonal Customer Advisor and be part of something special. The festive season at Boots is one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year, and we're looking for enthusiastic people to help create brilliant experiences for our customers when it matters most. About the opportunity As a Seasonal Customer Advisor, you'll be at the heart of the action, helping customers find the perfect gift, discover great offers and get what they need for the celebrations ahead. You'll be the friendly face customers turn to for advice and support, creating feel-good moments that make a real difference and keep them coming back all year round. This is an important role where you'll help deliver a great experience for our customers. It's also a fast-paced and active role where priorities can change quickly throughout the day. You won't just be helping customers on the shop floor. You'll also support deliveries, replenish stock, and help keep the store looking its best. Working in store is a real team effort, so you'll need to be flexible and ready to step into different areas to keep things running smoothly. You'll feel good knowing you're playing your part and enjoy a strong sense of teamwork and fun as everyone pulls together during our busiest season. If you enjoy helping people, staying busy and being part of a supportive team, this could be the role for you. This is a temporary role, with the potential for longer-term opportunities depending on local availability. What you'll be doing You will: • Welcome customers, understand their needs and help them find the right products, gifts, services and offers. • Create memorable customer experiences through friendly, personalised service. • Help customers complete purchases using tills and self-checkouts. • Replenish stock and keep shelves full • Support deliveries and help organise stock in the stockroom. • Keep the store and shopping areas look their best. • Work across different areas of the store and support your team wherever help is needed. What you'll need to have (our must-haves) • Available to work Bank Holidays including Black Friday week and weekend, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. • Customer-focused — enjoys talking to people and helping customers have a great experience. • Team player — supports others and cares about team success. • Operations ready — comfortable balancing customer service with stock, fulfilment and shop floor tasks. • Proactive attitude — sees what needs doing and takes ownership. • Resilient — stays positive and focused during busy periods. • Energy and stamina — keeps energy high throughout long, active shifts. • Confident asking questions — asks for help when needed to get things right. • Comfortable with technology — learns new systems and confidently uses handheld devices, tills and self-checkouts. It would be great if you also have • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment. • Familiarity with Boots products and services. Where your brilliance can take you You’ll receive industry-recognised training and build valuable experience along the way. You may go on to explore more in Retail, Pharmacy, Beauty or Opticians, or ultimately progress into management. There are plenty of paths to follow for you to become brilliant with Boots —you can read some of our colleagues stories here . Rewards designed for you • Generous employee discount across Boots and our partner brands • Discounts at nationwide retailers • 24/7 counselling and wellbeing support through our Employee Assistance Programme There’s lots more in our benefits and discounts, MyBoosts – there to give you that little lift in your everyday.
