Terms of use
Purpose
These terms govern the use of the service published by CATWALKS, a SASU (French single-member simplified joint-stock company) registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 921 505 053, whose registered office is at 99 rue du Point du Jour, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt, France.
Catwalks is a recruitment platform specialising in retail, fashion, beauty and luxury. The service allows candidates to create a profile, browse openings and apply to them; it allows Catwalks to offer them opportunities matching their profile directly.
Creating an account constitutes acceptance of these terms and of the privacy policy.
Your account
The service is reserved for persons of legal age. You undertake to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any action taken from your account.
An account is strictly personal. It may be neither shared nor transferred.
Your CV and its automated analysis
Uploading a CV is mandatory in order to complete your registration: your profile is built from that document, which saves you from re-entering your career history.
This document is sent to a third-party service for automated analysis (see the privacy policy). The analysis extracts your work experience, education, skills and languages.
You warrant that you hold the rights to the document you upload and that the information it contains relates to you. You can review and correct all extracted data from your personal account.
Openings
Some openings are published by employers on their own websites or on public sources, then republished by Catwalks: you then continue your application on the employer's website, and Catwalks sends nothing to the employer. The other openings are entrusted to Catwalks by its client Maisons. The Maison's name is displayed on the opening, except for a confidential opening: its name is not shown there and is disclosed to you during the process.
Several openings may carry an identical job title while corresponding to different needs: client, location, contract, pay or start date.
Catwalks guarantees neither an interview nor a position. Openings may be amended or withdrawn at any time.
Introductions to Maisons
By creating a profile, you agree that Catwalks may offer you opportunities and introduce you to its client Maisons when your profile matches a need.
When you are introduced, your CV and your profile information are passed to the client Maison concerned.
Your uploaded CV is visible to the Catwalks team, who may contact you, whatever job-search status your profile shows. For your CV to no longer be visible and to no longer be contacted, delete your account, or ask us to do so from the contact page.
What is not permitted
- uploading another person's CV or data;
- publishing false or misleading information;
- extracting, copying or reusing all or part of the openings and content of the service;
- using automated means to crawl or harvest the service;
- impairing the operation or the security of the service.
In the event of a breach, Catwalks may suspend or close the account concerned.
Availability of the service
The service is provided as is. Catwalks uses reasonable efforts to keep it available, without guaranteeing the complete absence of interruption, in particular during maintenance or update operations.
Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is permanent.
The applicable retention periods are set out in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be amended. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. In the event of a substantial change, you will be informed before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction.
