The role will initially operate on a Night Shift pattern until the end of December, supporting our store fulfilment operation during a busy period. From January onwards, the position will transition to a permanent Day Shift role, offering a long-term opportunity within our Distribution team. This 40-hour per week opportunity is based at our Killingworth Distribution Centre, where you'll initially work a Night Shift pattern until the end of December, operating articulated vehicles on scheduled trunking routes and supporting the wider distribution network through planned and ad hoc collections. You'll undertake vehicle swaps with our northbound driver, complete thorough vehicle safety checks, and maintain clear communication with operational teams to ensure activity runs smoothly throughout the shift. Working to high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism, you'll help ensure our stores receive the stock and support they need to deliver a great customer experience. From January, the role will transition to a permanent Day Shift position, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to continue supporting our distribution operation.
